North Jeolla Province held the 18th Jeollabuk-do Outstanding Small and Medium Business Award in 2020.
On the 24th, the “18th Jeollabuk-do Outstanding Small and Medium Business Award Ceremony” was held at the Jeonbuk Provincial Government Office and seven winners of the Excellence Small and Medium Business Award who contributed to the development of the local economy by successfully managing small and medium-sized enterprises were awarded a plaque of merit and certification.
The Jeollabuk-do Excellent Small and Medium Business Award is awarded to representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises and representatives of small and medium-sized business organizations who have distinguished themselves in the areas of job creation, sales growth, regional development contribution, development of excellent new products, longevity companies, and start-up companies, who have contributed greatly to the development of the local economy.
33 companies applied for the award to select seven companies, recording a high competition ratio of 4.7 to 1.

Representatives of companies and economic organizations selected as excellent small and medium-sized entrepreneurs will be provided with 30 million won in management improvement subsidies, and a plaque of merit and certification will be awarded.
Participating in various corporate support projects will be eligible for preferential companies that receive extra points and will also be given support benefits such as a three-year grace period for local tax audits.
Woo Beom-ki, deputy governor of North Jeolla Province, said, “In the post-Corna era, entrepreneurs who have continued to grow and develop with excellent technology and sincerity are the main drivers of economic growth in North Jeolla Province.
